Successful Models of Social Work in Rural Communities of Odisha

Great Achievements of BIPF through Social Development in Odisha Programmes:

1.    Education – Support to schools and the establishment of Chinmaya Vidyalaya Therubali, Rayagada are the greatest achievements of this organization in the education sector. Professor Ghanashyam Dash Scholarship for Higher Education is a supportive scholarship program initiated and continuing by BIPF.

2.    Skill Development – The Therubali Industrial Training Centre (TITC) in Rayagada and other purposed institutions are aiming to make the youth employable. This is one of the best successes of BIPF through its initiatives for social work in rural communities of Odisha. The modular employability programme and schemes for livelihood promotion are also having greater values.

3.    Women and Children – Project Unnati is empowering the rural women in bringing positive changes to their own and community’s socio-economic standards.
